Treasures of the Sea: Polyhedral Dice, Conch-gift of the Finfolk, & Stillborn
Polyhedral Dice
Still potent with the scent of dimly-lit rooms and fellowship and chance.
Roll a d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, and d20. Any die on which a 1 appears is found. If no 1s are rolled, reroll until one appears.
With a Polyhedral Dice in your possession, you may attempt any roll once more, replacing the dice with the one you possess.
Once a die has been cast to change your fate, it cannot be used by any other, until after your death.
Conch-gift of the Finfolk
Put your ear to the opening. A thousand yearning voices invite you to join them.
Put your lips to the shell. Inhale, and let the song fills your lungs. For 2d6 minutes, you cannot breathe air, only water.
If the shell is shattered, all those nearby suffer the same effect.
Stillborn
When a child comes knocking before its time, go down into the sea, and give birth to them there.
Should the child live, take them home. Love them as long as you can. But should they be already dead, leave them for the tides. The sea will enshroud them in a blanket of pearl.
The flesh within remains soft. Consume it to claim the Stillborn’s nascent life. The next time you die, you return.
