Mask 03: Mask of Penitence

From the Moon of Grace fell iron-heavier-than-iron, that we might redeem ourselves in the eyes of God and Man.

In wearing a mask forged of such sacred metal, you may purify your spirit of all its sins – past, present, and future.

The weight of sin is great. The mask grows heavier the greater your sin, bowing the head in constant supplication. Roll a d20. Every ten days, you must roll a d20 over the first result, or the weight snaps your neck. Add +2 to the first result each time you commit a sin while wearing this mask. 

After forty days and forty nights have passed, the mask cracks and falls.

The face it reveals is a face made righteous. Its holy mark shall never fade. None in heaven or on earth can punish one such marked for any crime. All has been atoned for.
